Brief: CookUnity, the chef-crafted meal subscription service, wanted an experiential event to break through the clutter driving brand awareness, cultural relevance, and social engagement.
Our insight? Culture is obsessed with food porn, but only CookUnity delivers food porn-worthy meals.
Solution: The Food Porn Peep Show. A voyeuristic, multi-sensory foodie fantasy, playfully housed in a 90s peep show shop.
Outside a 1-800-Food-Porn phone booth hotline satisfied those who couldn’t wait with sizzling ASMR. Inside private booths featured CookUnity’s live chefs cooking, guests sampled bites through snack-sized glory holes, and flipped through food porn magazines. Each guest took home novelty gifts like pickle poppers, tajin ticklers, and CookUnity sweets.
Results: The one-day pop-up attracted over 300 attendees, including influencers and media, generating over 2 million earned impressions and driving significant brand awareness including Ad Age’s “Creative campaigns to know” Social engagement extended the event’s reach beyond its footprint, reinforcing CookUnity as chef-led for the adventurous foodie.
